Ralson Tire North America is expanding its distribution capabilities in the US with two new warehouses located adjacent to major shipping ports in Newark, NJ, and Savannah, GA.

The two new warehouses are operated by Harbor Freight Transportation Company. Ralson will have sizable, dedicated space for its comprehensive lineup of Ralson and Accelus brand TBR tires in the 175,000-square-foot Port of New York/New Jersey warehouse and the 240,000-square-foot facility in Savannah. Ralson has plans to establish several more distribution warehouses across the USA in the coming years.

“This strategic investment will significantly improve our supply chain efficiency, reduce inventory costs for our customers and provide more timely deliveries to our distribution partners,” said Brian Sheehey, senior vice president of Ralson Tire North America.

Sheehey said Harbor Freight Transportation Co. is an ideal logistics partner for Ralson with the two warehouses located near Ralson distriibutors and its full turn-key services, including handling inbound  and outbound freight.

Founded in 1947, family controlled and operated Harbor Freight Transport Corp. is a major player in East Coast distribution. Steve Liberti, president and owner, and his son, Stephen Liberti Jr., have expanded their operations from a container freight station and export-boxing company to the specialized handling of cargo along the East Coast.
